It’s made out of oil, sheds toxic microplastic, and never biodegrades. Well I’m part of a group of fashion veterans that has made it our life’s mission to change all that. And after 2 1/2 years of work we think we've created something really special. äktiiv is an activewear startup that is pioneering the use of new plant-based biomaterials to solve activewear’s pollution crisis. Our first high performance activewear collection is plant-based (from castor beans), carbon neutral, and is the first of it's kind to explore a new class of materials that we think are the future of clothing.
