Suburban Homesteader

Hello group!

I am in the wrong region but hope to be with the right group :) I am joining but I live at the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica - I run a small community foundation - The Blue Zone Community Foundation - and I deal with a few communities where people literally survive growing their basic grains, raise pigs, chicken, and catch salt and sweet water fish for their everyday meals.

These people that I am describing have land..., they just don't know how to exploit the richness of the land they possess, and usually end-up selling their land, then later spend their money, and they continue living in poverty but now without land...

So, I try to learn a little or a lot, to see if by chance I can learn something that I can pass on to these people and help them keep their land - and get out of poverty too.
